Baseball. Soccer. And now the 2014 NBA Playoffs. Professional Sports is the latest industry to join the growing PMD family.
The Golden State Warriors, one of only three charter NBA members still around, have jumped into Windowposter™ Displays with both feet, hiring PMD to get All-Star Stephen Curry SEEN everywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The first round of the 2014 post season starts this Saturday, April 19th, when the Warriors travel south to meet their California arch rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors will be the underdog in this fight, as always.
But there would be no Legends without adversity.
The Warriors have a growing, avid fan base, and it’s not hard to see why. The Warriors hold the distinction of winning the league’s first-ever championship, claiming the title in the inaugural 1946-47 season. The team moved from Philadelphia to the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 1960’s, and continued to add to the history of professional basketball. Through the years, the Warriors have boasted 18 Hall of Famers, and have won three NBA championships.
Throughout the 2013-14 NBA season, the Western Conference has been called “wide open”. But there is only one team that has real potential to shake things up. The Golden State Warriors are currently one of the winningest teams in the NBA, post All-Star break.
On any given game night, the hashtags on Twitter and Facebook blow up with #DubNation, #SplashBrothers and #WarriorsGround. The fans are loud and proud.
“This is Warriors Ground.” Covering key neighborhoods in the Bay Area such as Haight-Ashbury, Mission and Castro, PMD Windowposter ™ Displays are being SEEN by long time fans and new recruits alike. Go Warriors!
