Pippin is one of the most celebrated musicals of all time. The show opened in 1972 and was revived for Broadway in January of 2013. The current production looks at a circus troupe, whose title character is the son of Charlemagne, with an identity crisis. The circus setting is new to this production, and is full of breathtaking on-stage acrobatics and an alternative ending to the original production.
The very first PMD WindowPoster™ campaigns were for advertising Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, so theater is near and dear to our hearts. When the producers of Pippin wanted to be seen throughout Manhattan, PMD was asked to display WindowPosters™ in neighborhoods as diverse as Midtown (businesses), Times Square (tourists), and the Upper West Side (locals).
