The First Amusement Parks Began In Brooklyn
The birth of the modern amusement park began in 1895, with Brooklyn’s own Coney Island. World-renowned for decades, the original Luna Park opened in 1903, and was revamped and reopened in 2010 to much fanfare – Coney Island’s glory days returned!
The new Luna Park is even more family friendly, with rides and games for kids of all ages. While the landmarked Cyclone roller coaster and Wonder Wheel are still on site, new rides, attractions, and a modern arcade were built to bring in crowds from all over the New York Metro area.
PMD WindowPoster™ Displays were seen in 2019 in family-friendly neighborhoods in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Each display included a QR code with a special season pass offer. Now the the entire family can enjoy the fun at Luna Park!
